City of London Wrestling was born in the spring of 2019, owned by the anonymous and shady character 'The Guv'nor'. Initially starting out as a small blood-sport promotion which quickly ran into legal difficulties, event closure powers were used by the old bill to shutdown shows after previous cards attracted disorder and crowd fighting amongst local warring youth gangs. After a short hiatus, the company returned with a new image, promoting traditional professional wrestling shows bi-weekly from boxing's iconic fight theatre York Hall in Bethnal Green. Taking a chance on talent from difficult backgrounds that other promotions would not, cLW has grown into an exciting sport orientated wrestling promotion with international influence - nurturing some of the best unknown talent and giving them a spotlight to shine.
Building a reputation for its passionate and loyal fanbase - demand for tickets is high and cLw events regularly sell out York Hall's 1,200 capacity. Attracting attention worldwide in the wrestling community, in early 2020 the promotion formed a talent share partnership with the United States promotion the SWA, acting as a developmental territory taking young newly signed SWA talent on excursion. The partnership also provides a platform for cLW to extend its audience and popularity across the world, making all cLw shows available on demand via the SWA Network with the bi-monthly super-shows streamed live.
Super-shows are held every six to eight weeks from the Millennium Dome site in Greenwich, London. The shows take their names from songs recorded by legendary London punk band The Clash - super-shows have also featured special attraction talents such as Doug Williams, Nigel McGuiness, PAC and William Regal facing the stars of cLw in dream matches. An annual league tournament called the Tower of London Classic is held over the anniversary weekend with the winner made the number one contender to the heavyweight championship.

Behind the Curtain This is my thread to showcase my creativity within the Fire Pro World. I have around 30 edits made which I will gradually begin to showcase - I've really enjoyed writing biographies and going back and fleshing out move-sets to match the edits refined personality. As much as I'd love to make this into a e-fed and play more with character development, I don't think I can commit to anything remotely regular.
At this point I do not expect to make anything public on the workshop as I don't feel I've mastered logic enough to be comfortable sharing. Ukemi and priorities could use alot more work.
Recognition Chango, Fuee, Severla for the inspiration behind edit appearances Spunk for the CPU logic guide - that thing has been so helpful Senator Phillips - SWA Official Canon as the basis for integrating SWA within my universe

JaFa
Birthplace Islington, London
Finisher The End of Time (Arm Slam)
Biography JaFa was discharged from the Grenadier Guards regiment of the British Army during the early 2000s after touring Afghanistan and Iraq. As part of the elite Grenadier Guards regiment, military training gave JaFa great strength, agility and survival instincts perfect for crossover into the wrestling world, as well as toughness making him impervious to pain, and skilled with a wide range of weapons. Once settled back in his native North London, lifelong 'Gunner' JaFa began to look for a new career without the pressures of strucutre and regime, searching in the yellow pages found listings for local wrestling schools. The search led him to a wrestling school run by the Phoenix Jody Fleisch in nearby Walthamstow.
Now a veteran of the London wrestling scene and the most over talent on the roster, JaFa was a former mid-card worker of the SWA and has completed dozens of international tours incorporating different styles into his arsenal of moves. JaFa's history of working for different independent promotions and threshold for pain means he is as comfortable in a deathmatch as a technical wrestling contest. An all rounder in the ring who adapts to the environment, JaFa can work a 30 minute classic with a wrestling machine, or trade blow for blow with a brawling monster.
Beyond the Mat
My original wrestling character/creation and has been my main character for career modes etc. since WWF Smackdown! 2: Know Your Role. The name was originally used because I was eating that classic British delicacy the Jaffa Cake during creation.

Jimmy Scarano
Birthplace Queens, New York
Finisher The Hamilton Beach Massacre (Double Arm Jumping Pile Driver)
Biography Jimmy Scarano grew up in Hamilton Beach in Queens, in the shadows of John F Kennedy International Airport. From a young age Scarano became involved in robbery and hijacking, taking advantage of the riches that the cargo from the airport offered. This attracted the attention of the Gambino crime family who gave Scarano an offer he couldn't refuse. He became one of the bosses most reliable money makers, earning the nickname 'The Fence' for his proficiency at redistributing ill-gotten cargo and creating profit for the family. Jimmy Scarano was present at the Hamilton Beach Massacre in the early 2000s which forced him into exile, eventually re-surfacing in the Docklands of London close to London City Airport, establishing a new crew.
Since arriving in London and keen to branch out from organised crime, Scarano leads the La Famiglia faction. The quick and agile Scarano can put on a great match with nearly anyone on the roster.
Beyond the Mat
My second wrestling character/creation, heavily influenced by Kid Kash from the TNA Weekly PPV era - I've given him the Money Maker finisher in tribute, its always previously been a dragon rana. In the earlier smackdown games, he was in an embarrassingly named tag-team with JaFa called Flying Without Wingz - because in the early 2000s everything needed a Z on the end.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback so far, very humbled.
If I can get my head properly around ukemi and get it to make each character behave how I want then yes of course I will upload to steam! At the moment everyone is set to the 20/25/15.
Working with a broken hand right now but hopefully will have some more to publish real soon, once I can make appearance graphics up.

Max Mason
Birthplace Kakabeka Falls, Ontario
Finisher Kakabeka Plex (Fisherman DDT)
Biography As a teenager small town boy Max Mason saved up money for a ticket to see the touring SWA live, and hitchhiked his way to nearby city Thunder Bay where he saw the first SWA show held outside of the United States and an instant classic between Blood Angel and Karts Rowdy. Several years later an inspired Mason left home, dreaming of becoming a professional wrestler and made the 800 mile journey from Kakabeka to Windsor to train. Opportunities with Canadian promotions opened up and Mason quickly became a fan favourite in the Ontario territory rising through the mid-card to the main event and selling out shows across Hamilton, Toronto and Windsor. His performances in the ring caught the attention of the scouts deployed by Steel Johnson, who signed Mason to the SWA and assigned him to developmental.
Sent on excursion, Mason has arrived in London with a reputation as an athletically gifted technical wrestler using a combination of throws and submissions to wear down opponents.
Beyond the Mat
Created most likely in WWE Smackdown! Heres Comes the Pain, this was a character I created during the early TNA/ROH era. I really liked the x-division type guys and he fits into that mould. The character has always used some form of fisherman suplex/driver as a finisher but as a submission guy he finishes matches with the sharpshooter regularly too in Fire Pro!

Randy Thompson
Birthplace Marble Falls, Texas
Finisher Jackhammer (Jack Hammer)
Biography Randy Thompson was always born to succeed, a natural sportsman who took a scholarship at local UT Austin and made it to backup line-backer for the Texas Longhorns until a neck injury derailed his playing career. Switching his focus to professional wrestling after graduation, his physique and athleticism were a natural fit for the ring where he showed the potential to become the next Goldberg, however despite being signed to the SWA by Steel Johnson as the next industry megastar, his career never took off due to debilitating neck problems and multiple copyright infringement lawsuits filed by the WWF for 'clear and obvious' similarities to the Gillberg character.
Thompson is now legally free to wrestle in Japan and across the pond in London where he is rebuilding his career in the heavyweight division. When working healthy he is a force in the ring and hungry to decimate his opponents with his impressive throws and slams.
Beyond the Mat
Another character from earlier games, created most likely in WWE Smackdown! Here Comes the Pain, this guy clearly has unstoppable force in mind - that was easy to implement in Yukes games! I haven't yet been able to get that result in fire pro, so the biography has fleshed him out as injury prone as a way for me to characterise his inability to win 95% of the time.. but I actually now prefer how he's turned out in Fire Pro!

X
Birthplace Sunrise Manor, Nevada
Finisher X Marks the Spot (Rapid Face Crusher)
Biography A founder and president of the Damned Chapter Motorcycle Club from Las Vegas, Nevada. The man known as X has spent decades involved in the dark and seedy underworld of Sin City, working security at gentleman’s clubs with a sideline as hired muscle to the highest bidder. An aggressive and dangerous individual with a long held connection to a body discovered buried in the desert, while nothing was ever able to be proved by law enforcement, X has been able to rule over the Damned Chapter and their activities with a reputation that commands fear and respect from prospects and members, and danger for anyone who dares to cross their path.
X was persuaded to take up professional wrestling by 'The Godfather' Charles Wright while working at the Cheetahs club off the Vegas strip. The colossal X brings vicious and unrelenting aggression to the ring and matches quickly turn into brawls - weapons are quick to find their way into the squared circle as his opponents try all they can to simply survive the fight. Most promotions refused to book X on the card as his reputation followed him, but he was given a chance overseas in London.
Beyond the Mat
My first real super heel character I created way back in the early 2000s, and heavily influenced by Abyss. A talented big guy with a lot more to him than dishing out power moves.

This now rounds off the characters who were created in previous wrestling games. Everything I showcase from this point forward is created within fire pro wrestling world. I've tried to make these guys from an appearance perspective look a bit more basic to highlight they are from a previous generation. Hopefully you'll agree the edits that come next look a lot better! Shit looks great dude, keep it up. And don't get intimidated about posting stuff on the workshop, even the best of us are forever tinkering with existing edits and posting updates. You see through me! I will try and upload these first five over the weekend and update when I have.

I think it's knee pad 2 (if not, whatever the thigh-high looking part near the top of the list is) over them, in flesh color
