spencer24 - I am definitely planning a James Storm edit that should work for AMW and Beer Money. I’ve got a batch or two of mostly WCW left before I can close my early 90’s, late 90’s, and 2000 collections, but then it’s time to officially put up a TNA set. Super excited for that. I've been watching the old weekly PPVs recently, just recently making it into the beginning of 2003. The most recent main event was Jeff Jarrett, The Road Warriors & Dusty Rhodes vs Vince Russo, Christopher Daniels, Elix Skipper & Low Ki. Those early days are just full of weird trivia answers with so many random one-offs and bizarre well everything lol. It is good fun though. |

Smaller batch of 7 uploaded today - that puts me at 1999 wrestling edits uploaded. I'm going to be out of town helping with a family situation for the next week, and I'm likely not going to be able to get any new edits made. After I get back home in early May, I'd like to release a special edit for number 2000. I'll open to all suggestions and will throw together a poll sometime early next week, then let it run for a few days. I'll go with whatever ends up taking the top spot in the poll, which will be hosted on the Fire Pro subreddit. The only requirements are: - I have not already made that edit before. If I've made the wrestler before but not the gimmick being requested, that's perfectly fine.
- The edit must be for a real wrestler who has competed in at least 5 matches using that gimmick. No one-off celebrity appearances for this one or gimmicks that disappeared within weeks.

The results of the poll are in and somehow, one edit ended up with 141.667% of the vote. I started out by just making edits that hadn't been made on the Workshop yet and now I'm sitting at 2000 wrestlers uploaded. If some of you on Steam and the Fire Pro Arena hadn't started making requests, I don't know if I would have been able to stay consistently motivated. I'm not stopping anytime soon and should have at least a small batch up this Friday. I'm still settling back in and catching up at home after being out for a week, but I'll still have at least a handful done. |
