So... Jay is indeed a bit of a mess. I get the logic behind his, uh, logic but it's still frustrating to see him not pin off of a bigger move like half the time. So he a.) needs a move that isn't so big that it requires a pin prio, or b.) needs the Sister Abigail as an alternate finisher option, and also c.) he REALLY needs to pin off of the DVD pretty much every time he does it cause otherwise it looks dumb.
His complete shot/Switchblade doesn't followup with an uproot German or uproot belly to back, which sucks as he usually performs that combination. I've also seen footage of him doing a lariat into the uproot German, so I put that as a potential late match spot using the counter Western lariat just for some variety.
As far as the Tiger Suplex 85 goes, he does do it on occasion... I think it's more of a spot from his babyface/Young Lion days. As for the turning vertical brainbuster, I don't recall that being a major move so even if I keep it on his moveset I wouldn't consider it a signature/favorite move for him.
I'd change the Rapid Backdrop to either the Uproot or Hell backdrop since he usually does a snap Saito suplex to signal the transition to late match. He should also have a carrying backdrop that he uses in the early and middle stages of a match, either the front or back version depending on how heavily you weight one over the other in sml/med.
Though, with those changes, I end up with a dilemma of him kinda ending up more along the 90s AJPW route where he has a lot of potential finishers besides the Blade Runner, but NJPW has Americanized itself to have less of those kinds of finishes.

On the subject of AI, this is way late to the game, but I noticed they have Tama Tonga spam the back switch early on to simulate that crawling behind thing he does during irish whips. Which means he mostly gets reversed.

I don't know if it's on purpose by the developers but the ground move for the Blade Runner makes him difficult to defeat. I have been simming a lot more then playing lately and picking it up casually I have lost to him three times in a row and it's oddly thrilling.

Yep, we really need that SML+MED slot in the moveset to do in critical, and with it, a move that pulls off your front or back SML+MED dmg move, like WWE2K. That would solve so many problems.

The spinning brain buster is in place of the elevated/suplex neckbreaker that he does later in matches. I put the Urange as a back grapple and got rid of the off the ropes counter one.

Tama Position Change
It even transitions into the Leaping Cutter/Gun Stun perfectly.

This is super helpful for when I re-do his logic and re-upload. My plan would be to keep the front grapple Blade Runner at 10% with 100% pin attempt after that, and then probably keep the opp. down Blade Runner at 15% when opp. critical with a 100% pin as well. Might watch some matches and see if he transitions any moves into the Blade Runner so I can set a priority chain there.
