After years of trying to beat the casino, Jeff Gorham hit a particularly good lick one day. It was enough to be a foundation for building a stable future. Gorham, having no understanding of financial security, decided to start a pro wrestling promotion.
Gorham trained in pro wrestling and various martial arts, but wasn't consistent. With the local wrestling scene being dead the last few years, he decided to follow that dream, and bring wrestling back to the Alabama gulf coast.
Going with the name Port City Pro, Gorham wants to build a respectable organization. Will his betting nature get in the way of this goal?
Awesome, it's always a pleasure to see a new fed pop up! I really like your backstory as well as the Alabama locale. May I perhaps add this fed to The Atlas of E-Feds? And if so, would I be right in thinking the Port City is Mobile?
Jeff Gorham: I'm Jeff Gorham, the founder and president of Port City Pro, and it with great pleasure, that I announce the details for our first event on June 4th. But before I do that I would like to introduce two members of the PCP roster. When I started putting this thing together, these are the first two people I asked to join. They agreed without hesitation. Here's Nick Hetfield and Justin Loomis. You guys have anything to say?
Nick Hetfield: (chuckling under his breath) You said pcp.
Gorham: Okay, is that all you have to say?
Hetfield: Yeah...I told you when I agreed to this that I can't wait to powerbomb some dudes.
Gorham: Yes you did. Well, Justin would you like to add anything?
Justin Loomis: (sitting on the floor with eyes closed in a meditative state) .......
Gorham: Dude, I know you're into all that meditation stuff, but do you have anything to say about the new promotion?
Loomis: Martial arts plus pro wrestling will rule all.
Gorham: Well anyway, PCP's first event will be 'The Battle of Mobile Bay' on June 4th at 8 p.m. central time. It'll be, a one night, 8-man tournament. The winner will not only win the first B.O.M.B. tournament, they will be crowned as PCP's first heavyweight champion. All competitors and match-ups will be revealed in the coming days, so check back in with us.
I know how you feel. I created UBL around my first edit, Orochi Geese. I slowly built edits and kept testing them against each other until I felt I had enough to create a full promotion. It can definitely take a while but is really satisfying when you get to that point! Looks like you have an exciting promotion coming 😎
I made a riverboat gambler character a few years back named Charles Langford:
I haven't fully created him in FPW yet, just ported over his FPR version. Hopefully one day I can actually finish him in FPW since he was a fun edit. Used a lot of tricks in his moveset and was fun to write for 😁

Narrator: On June 4th,2019. Port City Pro presents 'The Battle of Mobile Bay'. A one night tournament that requires the victor to win three matches. If those stakes aren't high enough, the winner will be crowned the first PCP Heavyweight Champion.
Narrator: 'The Phantom Lord' Nick Hetfield faces, former University of Alabama football player, Big Bama Ray, in what should be a hard hitting match-up. Stay tuned for more announcements in the coming days.
The final B.O.M.B. match has been revealed. Kenny Bread was out delivering pizzas like any other day at work. When he delivered a pie to Jeff Gorham, he received an offer that could change his life. Can he pull off the ultimate underdog story?
Also, a tag team match has been added to the card. It's Monster Gains(Jimmy Barrett & Roger Ratchford) vs. The Quinn Brothers (Alfred & Trevor Quinn)
