A friend of mine recently bought the game on PC/Steam and the Workshop button is greyed out for him. Any idea(s) why? I suggested V-Sync to him, so perhaps that's it? I've only ever gotten that when I've played offline. So if your friend isn't offline I don't know what it could be.

Hi, long time Fire Pro player since SNES days to the PS2. I recently decided to buy Fire Pro Wrestling World on Steam but was surprised that 80% of the wrestlers I downloaded from the community is grayed out. I understand this is because some moves are from DLCs that I haven't purchased. My question is do I have to buy all DLCs or are there non-essential ones that I can skip and save my money on? Please note that I don't want to play the promoter thing. Thanks! I could be wrong here but iirc the only DLCs with actual moves in them are the Roster DLCs. (NJPW, NJPW Junior, Stardon, Takayama)
While the other DLCs had patches accompanying them that came with moves you don't need the DLCs for those.
The Takayama DLC only comes with one move, the Spirit Punch Rush, but that's a rad move and many people use it, plus earnings from the DLC go to charity so that was an easy buy for me.
E: Oh great, that post was two pages ago, I thought I was on the most recent one, oops.

Dropping the resolution did the trick. Running smoothly now! Now to figure out how to get that mod suite and import some moves.... Not sure if this is the right thread to post this in but finally got the game and loving it so far. Only issue is that the entrances are really slow, as are the matches at 100%. Possible CPU issue? RAM? I'm running this on an Intel Core i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10GHz 8 GB Ram (2X4GB)

OK dammit, why are some edits greyed out now?
I downloaded a Mayu Iwatani and a Riho that can't be used.
I don't own the Stardom or Entrance DLC, but the Riho says it only requires the NJPW DLC pack and the NJPW Junior DLC pack. I own both.
The Mayu doesn't say it needs any DLC.
So why can't I use them?

Don't trust the DLC notifications, they're voluntary and not everyone uses them, myself included. At this point, I probably use parts from almost every DLC pack on a lot of my edits, and keeping track of that isn't really something I do when I'm editing. It was a poor decision for Spike to not have that stuff autoflag instead.

I have to figure it's almost certainly because you don't have the Stardom DLC.

It was a poor decision for Spike to not have that stuff autoflag instead. Yeah, I don't modify edits with separate lists of each DLC in front of me Spike needed to have the DLC moves auto-flagged so that everyone could keep track of it. I have started to err on the safer but vaguer side. I now just mark every DLC on each edit if I know I have used at least one of the non-default moves. That way people can roll the dice knowing there is a chance my edits are using DLC. But there is no way I'm going to go into every edit and match up each non-default move with the move list for each Spike DLC announcement. I'm giving people a caveat emptor* that my edits may have moves so it's up to them to take that risk or download all the DLC and be safe. *Actually, hmmm....what is latin for "downloaders"? 😁 Caveat downloadus

Hey guys, if I bought the DLC's for one PS4 and I then buy a new PS4, can I download the DLC's that I bought to that new PS4, or do I have to buy them again?

Hey guys, if I bought the DLC's for one PS4 and I then buy a new PS4, can I download the DLC's that I bought to that new PS4, or do I have to buy them again? Are you transferring your account over to the new one? If so, there shouldn't be a problem. But if it's a new account, then you'll probably have to buy again.

Thanks for the reply. My stuff in under my brother's name, so I guess I'll just buy the DLC's for the new PS4 under my name.

Maybe somebody here can help me out because this is blowing my mind. By my understanding, this should cause the edit to go for a moonsault 100% of the time at high damage if they are able to after the body slam, but do the taunt if they can't. Problem is, I've never seen the moonsault go off of this sequence. I didn't think about it for the longest time, but recently I've noticed times when the opportunity was clearly there and the moonsault just didn't happen. The taunt happens every time instead, which goes against everything I know about sequence logic.

Hmmm, my first reaction is honestly some kind of glitch.
But just to cover all the bases:
I'm assuming those opportunities are covering every situation when all of these are occurring properly:
1) Damage state: Only Large.
2) Ring positioning: Wrestler close enough to turnbuckle based on fighting style and move.
3) Opponent "state" - it's a moonsault to a downed opponent, right? Every time your wrestler does the taunt, is the opponent getting up on their own in dazed state? If so, maybe that is what is going on. What slot is your bodyslam in? Is it in any of the O slots (not counting []+X). That could be the problem.
Honestly, I've noticed several inexplicable priority drops over the past year or so. So it really may just be a glitch. Maybe try setting the same two sequences but in two different slots?

The slam is in a weak grapple slot. I figured that'd work fine but maybe I need to find a free medium slot and tinker around the moveset. I honestly haven't taken a good hard look under the hood on Lina in a year or two. Maybe I missed something.

Yeah, you may want to try putting it in the medium grapple slot. It's possible that Lina isn't reading the opponent staying down long enough in the weak damage spot for her to attempt the moonsault.
I tend to put all my set-up moves for dives in the "small + medium" or medium slots. If the diving move is a finisher, I'll put the set-up move in "small + medium" to give my edit extra time to taunt and then attempt it.

It should still work off of a weak grapple as far as I know. Try setting it to 100% on both just to make sure it will go off.
She does have the skill to allow her to climb, right? That can be easy to overlook, and that would definitely cause something like this.
