We got a ton of wrestling tonight, a throw back to the Friday's of 2019 when Zip Japan and The Office ruled the land. Nobody in Warrior Pro wanted to wrestle so we pushed out Warrior Grounds #30 to tomorrow sometime (probably) and just filmed an episode of The Bullpen filled with super fun promos.

Warrior Grounds #31 Preview Tomorrow Warrior Pro Wrestling presents Warrior Grounds #31 from the famous Arena Antiguo in Mexico City and will combine wrestlers from both Warrior Pro and Lucha POWER. Feburary has historically been the time of year where the two promotions put on a Supercard, but with that moved to October this year, the amped up Warrior Grounds will have to tide everyone over. To promote the event, a press conference took place earlier today with both El Macho and Lefty McDaniel. The site of both men together, seemingly getting along was an odd one given the two’s rocky history the last time they co-promoted an event. Neither Lefty or Macho took questions, but both were quick to affirm that the partnership between the two companies was as strong as ever. El Macho did briefly touch on his missed match at Friday’s Tiger Stripe Pro show. He said he would give his side of the story at the show tomorrow, and that travel issues “had nothing to do with it.” The Card:Doctor Dorado vs Hexagon Jr.The show will kick off with a battle of old guard vs new guard. Dorado has looked great at local house shows, and rumor has it the wily vet has gotten himself in shape to make one last big run before age finally catches up with him. He’ll have a strong test with the former Lucha POWER champion, who is also trying to build momentum towards another run at the belt. Rampage Hunter vs Nightmare ClownThe argument could be pretty easily made that the next title shot after High Noon should be given to Rampage Hunter. The big man followed up an impressive stay in STRUGGLE with a big Warriorversary win over Big Bird Machine, before heading over to HTW to pick up an impressive win in that promotion. His minor setback in The Office could be wiped clean with a decisive win against the ever dangerous Nightmare Clown, who has started stringing together wins of his own. Music City Wrecking Crew vs Los TerriblesOtto Alderson and Bo Leslie will team up together for the first time in almost 6 years, and for the first time in Mexico in almost 15. They’ll face the superstar team of Los Terribles- Pantero Negro Jr and Lobo Muerte- in what could easily be a show stealer of a match. The winner could conceivably challenge for the Tag Titles against whoever comes out of High Noon. Lucha POWER Championship: Diego Guerrero (c) vs Dungeon Dominguez (w/Paco)Diego Guerrero will start his second reign as Lucha POWER champion with the biggest test of them all- Dungeon Dominguez. Dungeon, who has been a force under the Golden Touch banner over in The Office, will finally get the chance to win back his belt- but the big man may have more on his mind given the events of Warrior Grounds #30, and rumors that John Logan will be in the building for the match. Warrior Grounds #31 will be posted TOMORROW!

(The camera fades in on OL' ROSS GRACIE standing in the middle of the HOSS DOJO's heavily duct-taped and MRSA-ridden ring, with an assortment of students behind him, and flanked by assistant Dojo trainers SKIP LEGDAY and YUMIKO LA GRANGE.) HOSS GRACIE: Now y'all listen up. Seems that some dumb bastard who thinks he knows how to run a wrasslin' school laid down a challenge to the Dojo, and ol' Hoss has gotta answer it. So that's why I'm headin' back home to the great state Texas, and I'm gonna be wrasslin'- Wait, who was that again? SKIP LEGDAY: You know, Austin Baron, from the Baron Wrestling School. HOSS: The hell!? Baron Von Baron's gotta be even older'n I am! Hell, I ain't even gonna have to wear my good boots for this one! SKIP: Bro, not Baron Von Baron. The dude's son, AUSTIN Baron. HOSS: What? Who in the good FUCK is Boston Aaron? SKIP: No, no, no. Austin. Baron. HOSS: What the hell is some Yankee son of a bitch doin', wrasslin' down in Texas!? Is that even legal!? SKIP: Bro... AUUUSTIIIINNN. BAAAARRRONNN. HOSS: I heard ya the first time! YUMIKO LA GRANGE: (face-palming, before walking out of frame and subsequently leaving the ring) Oh my god. HOSS: (to the camera) Now look here, you lily-livered, city slicker son of a bitch! I don't know what y'all think wrasslin' is supposed to be in Delaware- SKIP: Massachusetts. HOSS: -but I'm gonna show you how it's done in the Lone Star State! You you can sit there, with yer damn Celtic pride, eatin' yer Dunkin Donuts, and parkin' yer car in Harvard Yard, but know this: You ain't gonna be wrasslin' some Rhode Island pansy.
SKIP: Bro, it's Mass- You know, what, never mind...
HOSS: You got the Ankle Rustler comin' for ya, live and in the flesh! So say yer prayers, Boston Aaron! 'Cause you done crossed the Hoss Dojo, and at High Noon, you got a date with the hangin' judge, boy!

Tonight is fight night! Warrior Pro Wrestling brings its first live show of 2022 to the state of Texas, at one of the legendary arenas and the original home of Baron Family Wrestling The Longhorn. The show is packed with a Title vs Title match, the Mutants defend their newly won Tag belts, Dungeon vs Logan in a grudge match thats almost a year in the making, and two of the more famous wrestling schools battle it out in a full fledged Dojo War. High Noon kicks off at 5:30pm PT LIVE ON TWITCH!Match Preview:Music City Wrecking Crew vs Midnight RidersThe Wrecking Crew didn’t have the debut they would have hoped for in Mexico last week, but the real news coming out of the match was their alignment with Vic Baron and Paco Pequeno. They face off against the Dallas legends who have been on staff at Baron Wrestling School for the last 6 months. A pair of generational tag teams face off in a stroke of fantasy booking that should fire up the crowd for the rest of the card. Dojo Wars: Austin Baron (Baron Wrestling School) vs Hoss Gracie (Hoss Dojo)Lots of words exchanged in this one. Both Hoss and Austin have had long successful careers (even if both refuse to admit they recognize the other), and this should be a fun brawl of two vets largely responsible for the training of the next generation of American wrestlers. Expect that whoever wins, it will likely become a story told to young trainees for years to come. “Wild Bill’s Big Gold Buckle” Championship: Red Masterson vs Hoss Haskins (iWe)The Big Buckle has an interesting history to it, and this is likely the beginning of a regular event at The Longhorn. The matchup itself should be a good ol fashion Texas brawl as two big ass Texans fight over a legendary piece of wrestling history. Tough to pick a winner in this one, but good chance in ends in a Lariat. Dungeon Dominguez vs John LoganThe drama between these two goes back a year. John Logan aligned himself with Paco Pequeno, then quickly ditched him as a part of Logan’s falling out with Midas Mathews. The problem is no one quits Paco without a cost- and the “giant” manager has made it his mission to damage Logan at every turn. After backing Vic Baron to take Logan’s world title, now he’s unleashed one of the most dangerous wrestlers in the world on the former champ. Logan got a measure of revenge when he interfered in Dungeon’s Lucha POWER title fight, but the head games are over- time to see these two beat each other up in the ring. Tag Team Championship: Bingo Hall Mutants (PEWA) (c) vs Reed BrothersThe Mutants did the one thing no one had seemed to be able to do, beat the Grim Reapers and pry their tag team belts out of their possession. The Reed Brothers will pose the first challenge to the new champs, earning the shot at the end of 2022 with wins over the Midnight Riders and Gears of War. This will be a fun style clash of brawler vs flyer to see if the Reed Brothers can bring the belts back home. World/IC Championship: Vic Baron (c) vs Doc Wyatt (c)This rivalry escalated quickly. Vic’s turn to the dark side has been jarring, but you can’t argue with the results. He has been a force to be reckoned with since last summer, and his win over John Logan was nothing short of impressive. His first defense might be the biggest match of his career. Doc Wyatt has been Intercontinental champion for 536 days, with 9 title defenses (both Warrior Pro records by a wide margin). With both titles on the line, the winner could very well claim status as the greatest wrestler in the companies young history.
