Tiger Stripe Pro has its origins as MCW (Mononoke Championship Wrestling). MCW existed from 1962 until 2016. Owned and operated by the Flippo family, MCW proved to be a very popular and long lasting regional (Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi and Arkansas). Don Flippo first established the company after leaving the executive board of Kodak film in 1962. Don’s love of wrestling did not emerge from the southern style that was growing at the time, but from a business trip to Japan in 1959. The excitement of seeing Rizidozan live (Don thought he was going to see a Sumo match) led to a lifetime love of Japanese wrestling. MCW, and now LLCW-i, has always been a welcoming home for wrestlers from across the globe.
One of the more notable champions of MCW was King Kitsune. Kitsune led MCW during the 1970s and 1980s to regional dominance along with a influx of Mexican and South American wrestlers. MCW became known for its wide variety of styles in-ring as well as the best chance for an American audience to see wrestlers from around the world.
During the 1980s, King Kitsune and sometimes friend, sometimes enemy Saturn starred in the cartoon “MCW Super Saturday Adventures” on TNBC. The cartoon, while crudely drawn and cheaply made, was a hit and led to the growth of the company outside of the southeast. The decade saw the rise of the Lord Van High as the top heel. His run as champion from 1983 until 1986 is a record that still stands.
The 1990s say MCW continue to grow. King Kitsune, Lord Van High and Saturn all retired from active competition. In 1999 Don Flippo finally retired from running MCW. Don left the company in the hands of his family. His grandson, Weston took the reigns and brought MCW into the 20th century. A new influx of talent was brought in and the MCW was established. The late 1990s also saw the birth of the juniorweight division. Stars such as Super Kakita, Hanshin Tiger and Great Oni. The early 2000s also say the rise of Jaeger Flippo. Jaeger (Weston’s wrestling name) was the first ace of the company since the days of King Kitsune.
MCW continued to maintain its audience until 2016 when two tragedies struck. On Jan. 1, 2016 the MCW jet carrying a large number of the roster crashed in the Smoky Mountains. 26 wrestlers and staff died. There were only 5 survivors, one of which was owner of MCW Jaeger Flippo. Flippo’s back and legs were broken, leading him to be bedridden for nearly 9 months. It was during this time that the Flippo family sold MCW to TNBC. TNBC renamed MCW to LLCW-i and restarted the promotion from the ground up. In tribute to the wrestlers lost, including MCW legend Great Oni, TNBC hosted the “Great Oni Memorial Tournament 2017”.
That brings the history to now. LLCW-i, the creation of the TNBC and various other produces, flamed out. High production costs, low attendance and lack of vision spelled doom for the short lived promotion. Soon after, TNBC went bankrupt following FCC violations, bank fraud and internal managerial misconduct. Hanshin Tiger, Super Kakita, Jaeger Flippo and Tiger Trillions bought the rights to the MCW/LLCW-i footage, name and territory. Tiger Stripe Pro was born.

Tiger Stripe Pro’s roster is made up of factions, each with its own goals, leadership and style.
TIGER ARMY - Led by Hanshin Tiger Art Wulf Kurt Hanover USA LOVE Gordon Lamar Prince Kitsune Pole Star Star Rider Patrick Blue Scott Jacks
The TIGER ARMY is made up of juniorweight heroes. Mostly MCW veterans, they aren’t afraid to have matches against one another. Often will team with the CRANE ARMY.
CRANE ARMY - Led by Super Kakita Hyper Dragon Mashsura Nara El Daidoji Francois Masque Blue Jay Kid
The CRANE ARMY is made up from the old MCW faction of the same name. You can often find them in the TSP Dojo working with new and old wrestlers in trying to perfect their craft and art. Often teams with the TIGER ARMY.
JAGUAR ARMY - No direct leadership Neptune Duncan Kaito Ted and Chris Buddy Julius Melnikov Cool Frank
JAGUAR ARMY is made up of wrestlers who either have issues or past grudges with members of the CRANE and TIGER armies. This might be the least connected of the groups. Each member strives for their own goals and doesn’t heavily depend on anyone else with the army.
LION ARMY- Led by Holy Papa Florida until “HIS RETURN” Kid Black Mystery Leather Jack Mono Masked Warrior Chris Lunar El Pigante Squid Jr.
Not much is known about what brings these wrestlers together. Holy Papa Florida, one of the last of the “golden era” of MCW, has brought these men together with promises that “he will return” and “glory be unto those who wait for him”. The LION ARMY, other than MR LIQUIDS BOYS, is the dominate bad guy group.
PAYCHECK ARMY - Led by Tiger Trillions Billy Fury Pratty Dinjo The Trashman Bulk Steam Seth Sonics Bobby Blayze
Despite Tiger Trillions claims that his group responds to higher goals and ambitions, these guys mostly working in and around the Alabama, Japan area during the week and wrestle on the weekends for a quick paycheck and some glory.
FOUR CORNER CATCH - Led by Matsu Toki Patrick Sabre Karl Schmidt David Moon Karl Kristiv Patrick Lake Carlos Nagano Bruno Bruno Bishop Johnson Lucas Dyatlov Faaborg Noi Sudnam Hu Chung-Hee
Less of a formal faction and more of a dojo, FOUR CORNER CATCH was founded by Matsu Toki after semi retiring from MCW. FOUR CORNER CATCH brings together all different types and schools of martial arts from Catch, Judo, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Karate,Boxing etc. Matsu Toki allows his group to battle anyone but to always show respect and honor to your opponent. The only group this does NOT apply to is MR LIQUIDS BOYS
MR LIQUIDS BOYS - Led by Mr. Liquid Brent Reed Rat Boy Matt Sinclair Gekko Tokage Kevin Seven others?????
Not much is known about Mr Liquid other than some rumors coming from smaller, ruined indy groups outside of TSP. He has somehow convinced the arrogant Brent Reed to join his group. While not much is known about this group, what is known is that everyone else hates them and will do anything to expel them from TSP.

- Tiger Prince vs Squid Jr. in a mask vs mask match. Tiger Prince has not been very respectful in his visit outside of TSP. His losing streak along with reports of “misbehavior” outside of the ring has left Hanshin Tiger with no choice but to teach Tiger Prince a lesson. Hanshin Tiger asked the roster for someone to defend their masks. The first person to accept was Squid Junior. Despite some misgivings due to the recent actions from the Lion Army, Hanshin accepted.
-The FIRST TWO MATCHES of the TAG TEAM TITLE TOURNAMENT! Reggie Griggs and Simba Mufasa (AAW) vs Patrick Lake and Hu Chung Hee Pole Star and Hyper Dragon vs. Julius Melnikov and Cool Frank* (Cool Frank is replacing and injured Juan Villegas)

The former Tiger Prince, has been kidnapped. Prince was last seen being helped out of the ring by officials following his loss and assault by members of the LION ARMY. Garrett Coliseum staff recently released closed circuit camera footage showing the former Tiger Prince being assault further by the LION ARMY and taken away in a vehicle. Holy Papa Florida told this reporter that Tiger Prince "asked for this" and that "we are simply helping HIM and him, find themselves."
Tiger Prince has lost his mask. Following the match, the rest of the members of the LION ARMY came to the ring and beat the ever living crap out of Tiger Prince. Medical professionals were finally allowed to take Prince to the back for medical treatment. After regaining some of his senses, Prince was kidnapped by LION ARMY. No word yet as to what his current condition is.
Simba and Reggie will face the winner of Hanshin Tiger and Gordon Lamar vs. Bishop Johnson and Bruno Bruno in the 2nd round.
8 person battle royal for the last TSP representative in the Great Oni Memorial Tournament Featuring Blue Jay Kid, Chris Lunar, Francois Masque, Mashsura Nara, Mystery Leather, USA Love, Karl Schmidt, and Duncan Kaito
Andrea declares that she will "destroy Crystal Reeves and take what she rightfully deserves. I have dominate womens wrestling my entire career and I will not be beat by anyone."
-Before the main event, Hanshin Tiger, Brent Reed, Mr. Liquid and two unnamed lawyers came to the ring. Hanshin went to begin, but Brent Reed took the mic before he could say anything.
Thanks to my brilliant lawyer, I have found a hole in my TSP contract. Normally wrestlers are not allowed rematches are losing titles. Thanks to Hanshin Tigers WONDERFUL contract, they forgot to add the clause to my contract. Since Mr. Tiger is afraid of losing everything in court to me, we made a little deal. I will have my rematch, whenever and wherever the hell I want. There is nothing Hanshin or El Daidoji can do about it.
Brent Reed then throws the mic at Hanshin's feet and leaves with lawyers and Mr. Liquid ,gleefully smiling, in tow.
In one of the best matches in TSP history, El Daidoji finally rises to the level of his teacher, tag partner and friend Super Kakita. Following the match Super Kakita took the Triple Crown belt and put it around El Daidoji's waist. In another sign of deep respect, Super Kakita went to his knees and bowed in front of his student acknowledging that the El Daidoji has finally graduated. Daidoji broke down at this point and the two men embraced as the screen went to black.
